It can enrich your life, build the foundation for wonderful relationships. Even when meeting people, paying them a genuine compliment is a nice way to start a friendship.

While this proverb is probably talking about getting impossible people or situations to open up, I think the proverb also works for blogging. Those who share positive energy in their posts, kindness, and understanding also build readerships and communities of kindness. The “iron door” being the flighty audience that is the internet. Kind words break through that “iron door” to an emotional connection, by sharing stories that provoke positive feelings, inspire and motivate.
