My whole life I didn't know what I wanted to do, but it had to be extraordinary. Now, my life didn't turn out to be exactly “extraordinary” but so far, I've been able to accomplish most of my goals on some level, and I've collected a few good anecdotes along the way.

When it comes to living, you don't have to do extraordinary things to make an entertaining best seller. Heck, half the books on the shelves are about ordinary people getting through just regular ol' life, only told in an interesting way. For your blog, think about how your life could be told in an interesting way. What are the lessons you've learned? What are the stories that make you, YOU?

It's all there, it just takes some time to find the best seller inside.

    What a great piece to wake up to! I really needed to read something like this today. I find myself thinking like this in the past few days, too. We all want to lead extraordinary lives- but the truth of the matter is that we already do because we all live unique lives, it just takes a little creativity to truly pinpoint the special aspects of our every day lives 🙂

      I agree. Often we forget how unique we are because we focus too much at comparing our lives to others, and therefore feel like our story is not worth letting the world know. But it’s important to remember how unique each one of us is 😉

    I love this post – very inspirational. Just like you, I have always been striving to make my life extraordinary. In some ways, it has been so far. I’ve had my share of disappointments but I’ve also made lots of dreams come true!

    I was just having this conversation with a friend today, especially in regards to blogging. Having some sort of narrative is important in the sense that it keeps people engaged and coming back for more. It’s like reading a book and waiting to find out what will happen in the next chapter. 😉
