IFB seeks a marketing intern or junior marketing person and a content editor and producer who share IFB’s passion for fashion, blogging, social media and the digital community. The right candidates also possesses strong marketing and content-creation skills to help strengthen the IFB brand and cultivate our community. Position

Compensation: $15/hour
15–20 hours a week
Duration: 6 months with option to renew
Location: Work remotely as part of our team
Employment Status: Contractor

IFB is looking to fill an intern or junior level content marketing position. You will work with our Lead Content Editor to identify historical content that performed well, update those posts and promote them accordingly. You will also work with our team to create new content inline with our strategic goals for our site.
Our mission at IFB is to educate and empower fashion bloggers worldwide. You will have the opportunity to work with the community of fashion writers, bloggers, and brands as an ambassador of the IFB brand.

Familiarity with Google Analytics, AdWords, SEO strategy, ecommerce, and social media marketing are a plus, but more importantly you are ready to work hard, exceptionally good at communicating (both to our team and to our audience), and are extremely responsible due to the remote nature of our team. We will be providing guidance to help you improve your blogging experience and knowledge of how a large media website engages with its audience and grows their community.

Editor

Compensation: $30/hour
Workload: Approximately 10–15 hours a week
Duration: Ongoing
Location: Work remotely as part of our team
Employment Status: Contractor

IFB is looking for a lead writer and editor to help us publish fantastic content. You understand content as a marketing tool and understand how to write content based on current trends while making the information relevant for years to come. You’re ready to dive in to research and create quality articles for professional lifestyle bloggers. You’ve had plenty of experience producing killer content, and are a stickler for details when it comes to the little things like punctuation and grammar. You’re passionate about blogging and a specific niche in the world of lifestyle blogging (it doesn’t have to be fashion, but this is what most of our audience is blogging about ). You will also be responsible for assigning occasional pieces to outside authors and provide direction and editing services as necessary. You will also work with our content marketing position to create a strategy around social media sharing and oversee the promotion of all articles, so you know your way around Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter like a pro.

In addition, this position will take into account our internal marketing and promotion strategies, and identify high-performing pages previously published and update them with new, fresh information while making them stronger pieces overall.

Familiarity with Email newsletter systems (i.e. MailChimp or Campaign Monitor), Google Analytics, AdWords, SEO strategy, ecommerce, and social media marketing are a plus, but more importantly you’re focused on working hard, communicating IFB’s mission (both to our team and to our audience), and are extremely responsible due to the remote nature of our team.
