We've all heard the “grass is greener on the other side of the fence” cliche. It's a great saying that keeps us aware that we tend to compare ourselves and think that other people have it better. It's perception. Because the people on the other side of the fence are thinking your grass is greener!

But if you really want “greener grass, ” take care of your lawn. Water it. Fertilize it. Do whatever it is they do to make a nice yard (I don't know, I've never had a lawn). You get the drift. Instead of looking at what other people have, take care of what you have, and watch it flourish.

It's amazing how it changes the way you think of “your side of the fence.”
