Seriously, sometimes we love them even more than we love fashion blogs about clothes that we\u00a0<em>actually<\/em> wear. There are a lot of reasons, and you may be surprised to know that the most important one is <em>not<\/em> that they contain a lot of photos of good looking men in well-fitting clothes. That's nice for sure, but what really gets us with great menswear blogs is the writing and the angle of the content. Guys tend to have a less self-indulgent, more pragmatic perspective on dressing &#8211; their posts analyze, dissect and laud the craftsmanship, detailing and heritage of their favorite designers and brands.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wwd.com\/menswear-news\/retail-business\/mens-wears-growth-expected-to-continue-despite-macro-challenges-5962093\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Women's Wear Daily just reported<\/a> that the men's retail market is out-performing the women's in all categories, so it's no surprise that menswear blogs are flourishing and gaining more exposure than ever. They're calling it a renaissance, and it shows no sign of slowing any time soon. With Pitti Uomo (men's fashion week in Florence) looming, here are our favorite menswear blogs of the moment:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-180417\" src=\"https:\/\/heartifb.com\/images\/menswear-blogs-collage-750x611.jpg\" alt=\"menswear blogs collage\" width=\"750\" height=\"611\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.acontinuouslean.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">A Continuous Lean<\/a>: A lover of all things heritage and Americana-influenced, Michael Williams' blog is full of menswear reviews and events, culture, travel and design<\/li>\n<li>A Suitable Wardrobe: This menswear blog talks shop from a personal perspective, with minimal design but plenty of content<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/alexandergrant.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alex Grant<\/a>: Once you get past the orange-and-blue text, this blog's mix of cool products and vintage photos is seriously addicting<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/allplaidout.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">All Plaidout<\/a>: Max Wastler's blog covering menswear news, lifestyle and personal anecdotes<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/dieworkwear.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Die, Workwear!<\/a>: Heavy on (well-written) text, this blog focuses on luxury menswear topics<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gilt.com\/giltmanual\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GiltManual<\/a>: The editorial side of men's flash sale haven, GiltMan<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.howtotalktogirlsatparties.tumblr.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">How To Talk To Girls At Parties<\/a>: The content here runs the gammut from hip-hop style, menswear lookbook images, question-and-answer posts, to humorous tid-bits and editorial photos<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/hypebeast.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hypebeast<\/a>: Culture, art, music and entertainment pieces &#8211; plus the latest for all those \u00a0sneaker-heads<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ivy-style.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ivy Style<\/a>: Dedicated to the aesthetic developed on elite college campuses in the 1910s, this blog is all about traditional style with an East Coast lean.<\/li>\n<li>Kempt: Run by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbandaddy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Urban Daddy<\/a>, this site boasts more a magazine-like feel, with fashion, grooming and lifestyle pieces abound<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.meninthistown.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Men In This Town<\/a>:\u00a0A men's street style journal, shot by Giuseppe Santamaria<\/li>\n<li>Men Of Habit: A robust site full of lookbooks, shopping and lifestyle articles (Their Tumblr is also excellent.)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mistermort.typepad.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mister Mort<\/a>: Mortechai Rubinstein photographs interesting and unusual street style; it's mostly menswear<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/putthison.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Put This On<\/a>: Their tagline is &#8220;A web series about dressing like a grown up,&#8221; and it's pretty accurate; with sale info, question and answer posts and video content<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gq.com\/style\/blogs\/the-gq-eye\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The GQ Eye<\/a>: GQ magazine's blog devoted to all things men's style<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.selectism.com\/\">Selectism<\/a>: In the same family with High Snobiety and High Snobette, this magazine-like site is sleek and full of original features<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/streetetiquette.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Street Etiquette<\/a>:\u00a0\u00a0Run by Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs; a\u00a0men's style blog that approaches personal style from an urban perspective<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/stylegirlfriend.tumblr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">StyleGirlfriend<\/a>: menswear musings, from a woman's perspective<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unabashedlyprep.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Unabashedly Prep<\/a>: Fred Castleberry's blog is mostly menswear and all prepped-out<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/valetmag.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Valet<\/a>: More of an online magazine than a blog, but always full of accessible shopping and trend pieces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>[Image credits: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unabashedlyprep.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Unabashedly Prep<\/a>, How To Talk To Girls At Parties, Men of Habit]<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have a confession: We\u00a0love menswear blogs.
