We do this by posting helpful articles,\u00a0hosting or encouraging meetups, and creating opportunities for our members to participate in branded promotions when available.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are some of IFB\u2019s current services for our community<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The IFB Social Network<\/strong> &#8211; Find other bloggers in your niche, city, country or just find other like-minded fashion bloggers to share your content with. The IFB social platform gives you a place to ask questions, get answers, as well as set up events and promote your blog.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Links a la Mode<\/strong> &#8211; a weekly round-up where bloggers submit their top posts for consideration. Approximately 20 stories are selected each week. This has been a huge traffic and SEO driver for participants.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Weekly member e-newsletter<\/strong> &#8211; features a blogger spotlight, highlights from the forums and Links a la Mode. This is how IFB became monetized (through a sponsorship with Gilt).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fashion Week Events <\/strong>in New York and London earlier this year &#8211; over 300 bloggers at each event &#8211; prizes donated from independent designers to consumer tech companies like Microsoft. American Express, G-Star RAW sponsored the NYFW event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have a fashion blog, you can join IFB by<strong> registering here<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Founded in September<\/strong> <strong>2007&#8230;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>IFB had very humble beginnings when started by Jennine Tamm, of <strong>The Coveted<\/strong>.
